Volunteer

Help combat the scourge of Meth abuse in Idaho.
We rely upon volunteers from across the state to help spread the message of "Not Even Once." There are many ways you can make a difference:
  • Community Advocacy - Provide grassroots support and promote community action by representing the Idaho Meth Project at schools, health fairs, career fairs, or other local events where teens and young adults may hear the "Not Even Once" message.
  • Testimonials & Community Presentations - Assist with educational presentations to local schools and community groups. Learn the Idaho Meth Project's "Meth 101" PowerPoint presentation or share your personal story of meth addiction to educate teens and young adults about the dangers of Meth.
  • Fundraising - Sponsor a fundraising event, encourage your local contacts to contribute, or serve on an Idaho Meth Project fundraising team to develop creative ideas to support the launch and sustainability of the Idaho Meth Project.
  • Administrative - Volunteers are often called upon to assist in our office with mailings, data entry and research projects. High school and college students are encouraged to contact us about potential internship opportunities.

Volunteer opportunities are offered on an as-needed basis. If you are interested in volunteering for the Idaho Meth Project, please fill out the application below. Anyone, regardless of experience with Meth, is welcome to apply.

Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis, and you will be contacted by an Idaho Meth Project Staff if there are volunteer opportunities that match your skills and interests. Volunteers with a history of Meth use are asked to be well into their recovery before beginning service with the Idaho Meth Project. Note: Our volunteer program focuses on giving back to the community by educating young people about the dangers of Meth use and is not designed to serve as a recovery support program.
