Teen Advisory Council
Applications for the 2012-2013 council will be available this spring.
Each year, a dozen teens from public and private high schools work together to help prevent Meth use in their community while building organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Recruit other teen volunteers
- Identify opportunities for school or community education
- Coordinate two school or community events per school year (this may include school presentations, assemblies, lunchtime activities, contests or art displays/performances to increase awareness about Meth)
- Provide input to the Idaho Meth Project on its media campaign and social media strategy
- Assist with summer events and event promotion
- Be entering the 10th or 11th grade at the start of the 2012-2013 school year.
- Possess regular access to the internet and a valid email address that you check regularly.
- Applications for the 2012-2013 school year are due July 15, 2012.
